IPR (Intellectual Property Right)

Intellectual property right is a very fast growing field in law it is dominating the corporeal property rights throughout the world. It is category of intangible rights protecting commercially valuable products of the human intellect. This category primarily consists of trade mark, copyright, and patent rights apart from trade secret rights, publicity rights, moral rights, and rights against unfair competitions. whereas the developed countries have recognized the worth of the Intellectual Property (IP) long back, the developing countries including India are still Lagging behind in exploitation of the I.P for the betterment of the society.

As knowledge of IPR would be very useful for CS student for practicing in this field so students should choose IPR as an elective subject as now CS have been permitted to practice in front of controller general of patent trademarks and design .
